Furthermore, any Labour member who signs his nomination papers, delivers a leaflet, or donates to his campaign is similarly out of the party instantly under the same rule.

Is exactly the point. I can't remember any centrist melts screaming on Twitter in 2019 about how Corbyn was useless and we should vote for someone else.
