Once again, he's demonstrating the curious right wing English belief that Ireland is just a naughty prodigal child who will one day see sense and come back home.

He avoids politics today (sorry, no link, I'm in a field) and waxes lyrical about Our Brave Cozzers in the wake of the Hainault attacks. A bit of revisionism as those involved are what he would otherwise dub "dopey birds". In short, tool up the filth and shoot some hairies.

He also covers a gay hotel worker who's bringing a suit against their manager for making improper advances. Because in his world all the gays love gaying each other all the time and you'd have thought he'd be flattered. Now here's how a sitcom character would have dealt with it, by singing a song the actor sang in another context.

Castle Point, local independent councillors doing what really matters, who cares about national or international issues, gravy train, I once did reporting, mayor and the aldermen, Ted Heath, stupid new counties, green targets, that Sadiq Khan, no proper Londoners like him, diversity officers, I can't get my head around this new parking app, proper binmen, what local election results, nobody cares. Here's a Game of Thrones reference, only 12 years late and long after anyone still cared.

Labour's 6 pledges are forensically examined by astute political expert Ri....no, of course not. He glances at each one and uses it as a launch pad for a standard rant.

Economic stability - taxes and strikes. Not that he can do anything with the civil service all on strike while working from home.

NHS - junior doctors are all millionaire commies. Bring back matron. Look at NHS Wales.

Border security - Labour loves immigrants, free council houses, Mandelson, deals with the French, all part of a plan to reverse Brexit.

Energy - he's in hock to the hippies and crusties and a real man would do some fracking and oil drilling and ooh, sweaty men, oil, drilling, the energy...

Crime - Khan goes out every night and knifecrimes a Pearly Queen. Is that what you want? Besides, everyone knows the only way to cut crime is to keep our recently arrived colonial brethren on their toes. White man's stick; put it about a bit.

Education - teachers are all hippies and lefties and get paid too much and 3 Rs and bring back the cane and he wants to shut down Eton and send all the nice kids to Shit Street Comp.

So, nothing changes. No real insight, but what do you expect from a horrible old and past it cunt like him?

Really fucking thin gruel here. Apparently the MOD has cancelled a mass parachute jump to commemorate D-day because the RAF doesn't have the transport planes to spare. This is somehow the fault of Gordon Brown, migrants, and lanyards.

Littlejohn online is for subscribers only today which boggles the mind. These days there must be a very strong possibility that what appears under his name is knocked out by ChatGP and tidied up by a subby. It's brand Littlejohn, giving the paying punters exactly what they want. Who knows, perhaps the cunt shuffled off some time back.

ChatGPT, you say? Here y'go.
Left-wing message forums: The Echo Chambers of Virtue Signalling, by Richard Littlejohn

You couldn’t make it up. In the vast wilderness of the internet, where everyone has an opinion and a platform to shout it from, left-wing message forums have carved out their own special niche. Imagine, if you will, a digital safe space where like-minded souls gather to pat each other on the back, safe from the inconvenient truths and differing opinions that might burst their bubble.

These forums are like a perpetual student union meeting, where everyone’s got a Che Guevara poster on the wall and a bumper sticker that reads “Coexist.” It's a never-ending competition to see who can be the most woke, the most progressive, the most “in touch” with the plight of the oppressed. They sit there, furiously typing away on their MacBooks, decrying the evils of capitalism while sipping on their soy lattes. The irony is lost on them, of course.

Let’s take a peek inside, shall we? It’s a cacophony of outrage. There’s a thread on how capitalism is the root of all evil, another on the horrors of climate change, and a dozen more on why the latest conservative politician is literally the devil incarnate. Disagree with them? Good luck. You’ll be branded a fascist faster than you can say “free speech.”

And the virtue signalling! It’s like a never-ending parade of moral superiority. Someone shares a story about adopting a rescue cat – from a shelter that exclusively rescues disabled cats, naturally. Another boasts about going zero-waste, posting pictures of their mason jar full of a month’s worth of trash. They’re saving the world, one sanctimonious post at a time.

But what really gets me is the utter detachment from reality. These forums are breeding grounds for ideas that wouldn’t last five minutes in the real world. Universal basic income? Sure, sounds great until you have to figure out how to pay for it. Defund the police? Brilliant idea – until you actually need one.

It’s a digital echo chamber, where the only acceptable opinion is the “right” one, and woe betide anyone who dares to dissent. Debate isn’t encouraged; it’s crushed. They don’t want to hear opposing viewpoints because, deep down, they know their arguments are as fragile as a snowflake in a heatwave.

In a nutshell, left-wing message forums are the ultimate exercise in groupthink. They’re not about dialogue or understanding – they’re about affirmation and moral posturing. It’s the blind leading the blind, with a heavy dose of self-righteousness thrown in for good measure. So here’s to the keyboard warriors of the left – keep fighting the good fight from the safety of your bedrooms. The real world will still be waiting for you when you’re ready to join it.

That’s the first time I’ve read an AI pastiche that’s better than the original author.

I'll chip in with my unchanging response.

Perhaps efficiency savings - like not stabling 600 heavy cavalry horses between Windsor and Central London - might provide for a few more/better planes and tanks.
