It took three of them to produce that half page of drek?

How long has Hodges been a leader writer? Suitably pompous humbug you’d expect. Perhaps check out Judge Vine, later.

The Mail on Sunday deplores sexism and misogyny in all its forms.
Fucking priceless.

In case you're wondering, Vine's verdict is a load of sneering dressed up as you go girl, sock it to the guys; while actually being a load of jibes about Rayner having nothing other than her looks, Labour said something nasty about the Tories, politics is tough, if you can't stand the heat etc.

The hybris, the sheer fucking brass-neck of them.
I would be leading the charge to defend journalists from civil service interference, but there is a grey area here where Hoyle is acting on behalf of parliament or "the will of the people", as the mail would put it.
But, this wasn't journalism in any recognised sense of the word. Indeed, you could argue that Tommy Robinson's antics were closer to that particular craft.

It's Ralph Miliband all over again.
Run a "story" designed to provoke/appall. Wait for the reaction. Double down and say that you won't be silenced, uncomfortable truths need to be aired, yah boo sucks.

Weren't they smearing anyone that dared criticize The Prittster's serial bullying as a misogynist?

If they weren't born in a council house they're a champagne socialist. If they were, they're too common to be a politician. And it's us with the double standards.

"Keir Starmer Accused of Piling Pressure On The Police" cries Der Heil.
Why are they getting angry about him doing the thing they wanted him to do?
There's some mild amusement to be had watching client journalists, addled by their shameless shilling for an irrefutably morally corrupt Prime Minister, struggle with Starmer's obvious & proven probity.

We ca laugh at this win.
But it represents of a lot of scarce energy diverted form Labour.
(The Tories have plenty of Russian money banked to carry on their shenanigans).
It also represents seeds planted for every pub bore and cabbie to drone on about, long after the truth has been proven.

The Mail’s looking more and more like the Morning Star in 1989.

I think I took a photo of a beer glass at work prior to The Great Fire that clearly showed the crown, along with the CE mark.
Of course, now it'll also have that dreadful UKCA mark that looks like it was designed by Dilyn.
