I’m surprised Littledick didn’t try to shoehorn in a Pogues reference

Oh, if only. Given that their reaction to Looza Fox weighing in on Fairytale of New York's lyrics was to rip him a new one and tell him to stay the fuck out, I'd love something similar to befall Dickie.

Pretty sure it's the Ireland of hugely interwoven and interconnected cross-border business and lifestyles doing the talking here. An Ireland that includes a hell of a lot of unionist people, and he maybe wants to look beyond DUP and TUV heat to see what business people and the general populace actually want.

A quick hint: if the Brexit vote is indicative of sectarian lines, it's past time for the oul Border Poll. Be the hokey, bollix and begorrah. Ye cunt.

Tow it out into the Atlantic and sink it. It's the only language they understand.

Is the penny beginning to drop for Dickie?
We're now coming to terms with what every single one of Boris's wives, lovers and political colleagues has had to learn the hard way — that this Prime Minister's word isn't worth the paper it's not written on.
But it's mostly the usual suspects - scientists, furloughed people, the caahncil, and clever bastards who work with computers.

In which Dickie compares companies pulling adverts from GB News to businesses paying off the mob, and moans at length that organisations such as Stonewall are just too damn successful. Then he has another moan, this time about how Bozza's all pussy whipped and it's all Carrie's fault and it's the wimmin mate stop doin' me 'ead in...

Dickie is vehemently opposed to consumer boycotts but he has decided not to renew his Spurs season ticket in protest at players taking a knee. It would be really funny if Spurs called him out on this and revealed that he has not actually had a season ticket for years.

This ‘Bozo has gone all woke under Carrie’s influence’ seems to be cropping up a lot. As long as it damages him with the wankers who vote for him, who cares?

That would be Carrie the senior Conservative activist.
Friend of such wokeists as Guido Fawkes.

Double dose today. First, from Saturday, laying into Johnson for being exactly wwho we knew him to be.

Then today you get a Chad Hanging thing in which he does his usual whine, along with some schoolboy sniggering about sex and racist epithets.

Bruce Springsteen is back on the Broadway stage this weekend. His sell-out, one-man show is open to anyone who has had two Covid jabs.

The city that never sleeps is wide awake again. New Yorkers can drink around the clock after governor Andrew Cuomo announced that all restrictions were being lifted. Across America, life is pretty much back to normal.

Bars, restaurants, nightclubs, cinemas, churches and ballparks are rocking and rolling. Yet while the glory days are back on Broadway, Britain is still dancing in the dark.

Be thankful Rolling Stones haven’t had gigs cancelled due to Covid restrictions. No satisfaction for Mick, can’t always get… blah blah.

Presumably New York is in a strong position because America locked down its borders sooner and kept the borders closed for longer.

Stones must have been double jabbed for months.

Richards likely shorted three extra doses and schmoked an other couple.

He absolutely thinks Born In The USA is a jingo anthem. I'd bet my house on it.

The two songs he name checked are from Born in the USA. His favourite of his albums apart from the Best of Springsteen.

Ditto (to a lesser extent maybe) for The Clash's This Is England.

He once presented a documentary on Radio 2 about why all the great protest songs were left wing. He's not quite in the pop culture clueless zone of, say, David Cameron.

Fairly sure he thinks his readers are, though.

Brexit, evil EU and remainers, the eighties (all McKuntzie's finest hours, a few panto lefties, and some racism), and aren't all British workers lazy?

One home worker certainly is.
