Couldn't think of a suitable thread to place this in, so I made a new abstract one.

Ex-Twitter exec details ‘homophobic and antisemitic’ abuse over handling of Hunter Biden story
Yoel Roth testifies before congressional committee that Elon Musk’s release of company’s internal records led to harassment

Roth said the release of the Twitter Files, which included his name along with those of other decision makers at the company, had “very real consequences” for his safety. “This lie led directly to a wave of homophobic and antisemitic attacks against me … of which Twitter has removed vanishingly little. And following the Daily Mail’s decision to publish where I live. I had to leave my home and sell it.

Roth noted he was not the only one affected, saying lower-level Twitter staff around the world, including the Philippines, “had their families threatened and experienced harm equal to or greater than what I’ve experienced”.

“Those are the consequences for this type of online harassment and speech,” he concluded.

Not just victim blaming but, having read the article, victim blaming based on nothing more than speculation and the sick minds at the Mail.

Did living in the shadow of his high achieving wife lead to unthinkable tragedy? Details emerge of the tensions behind the picture perfect lives of the Epsom College head and her husband who 'killed her and their daughter before turning the gun on himself’

Was Sue Gray an undercover British spy when she ran a pub in the heart of IRA bandit country? GUY ADAMS casts new light on Partygate investigator now refusing to answer questions about new job with Keir Starmer

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... untry.html

Even the BTL Mailites aren't happy, pointing out that either outing a spy or potentially putting a target on a completely innocent woman is totally irresponsible.

Why are the Fail going after someone who, according to their darling Johnson himself, completely exonerated Johnson in the Partygate affair?

Leveson II implementation time.

Because they need a target, and any association with the enemy is a hanging offence. And because a middle aged woman ought to know her place. Cosplaying strict schoolmarm is one thing, but by having opinions she's taking the piss.

The idea that rubbishing Sue Gray some how clears Johnson of any wrong doing really is utter bullshit. Johnson has never denied being at numerous social events in Downing Street during lockdown he has simply been arguing the toss about what constitutes a party. The police didn't buy Johnson's bullshit and the privileges committee will probably reach the same conclusion regardless of what was or wasn't in Sue Gray's report. Johnson and his supporters just need to 'take it on the chin.'

You have to remember that the audience consider the average Irishman little more than a strategically shaven ape.

Still, though. The South Armagh Brigade weren't exactly noted as the sharpest of IRA units* (generally, that would be West Belfast or East Tyrone) but the idea that they'd somehow fall for that is beyond parody. Given also that the area in general had the likes of Robert Niarac and the Special Army Soldiers kicking around, as well as the UDR/RUC presence being "infiltrated" with UVF/UDA up to 100% in some units (Source: British Army Intelligence) the idea that they also needed a kindly landlady to catch ould Provos crying into a pint is fucking ludicrous.

*They were bloody "effective", for want of a better word, but not exactly up on tradecraft or any form of subtlety.

This batshit conspiracy was invented by Corbyn supporters (Piers probably), that’s how the desperate the Mail is. Perhaps their only growth market is poaching Express readers.
If this story did have any validity, Special Branch would be forgiven for bundling Dacre in the back of a transit and roughing him up in an abandoned warehouse. We can only hope.
