There's a strong aspect of Alt Right on manoeuvres among the Amazon reviews.

Pick a few titles by "pied pipers" form the USA, you'll find 5* ratings and flat-pack phrases like.
Packed with true facts
I recall when there wasn't another kind of fact, I wonder who changed that?
AUTHOR shows us how we're being fooled bu the Marxist establishment.
These things must write themselves like Mister Men books.
Or Spiked! articled.

Pretty confident Alun d’s conclusion is accurate (1 star awarded).

A conspiracy theory that makes QAnon look like a Mensa operation

I must begin by saying I have read the first seven chapters and the last three chapters of the book. I have not been able to read all of it – because what I have read have made me realise it is total, utter, ridiculous, garbage!

As someone who has been against the Conservative party for all my life, I welcome this book as it is yet another indication of how appalling the Conservative party of today is and how it does not deserve to be in power.

That is the only reason I would recommend anyone to read the book.

There was an entry on Fesshole (anonymous online share a secret site) from someone claiming to be an advisor to a minister who was broadly seen as "one of the intellectuals" in the Tories. They said that actually, the minister was an utter moron who was inordinately obsessed by wheelie bins.

Intense coaching, advisors always on hand, and simple talking points to get across. And to paraphrase Chris Morris, the great thing about stupid MPs is that they're too stupid to know when they've lost.

Once again, they act as if it's just a case of get him a seat, get him campaigning (never asking why, if he's such a fucking Tory legend, he's not out doing his bit without the promise of a safe seat or a peerage), a bit more effort, one last push, and everything will be alright.

Not once do I see one of them saying "Maybe it's not the message, or how it cut through, or how it was received, or the image we projected - maybe they get all of that and simply hate us?".

"Socialism evermore". How does that work? Is Starmer abolishing elections, or is Nad already factoring the party splitting?
Don’t recall Johnson wooing Blackpool with promises of more low tax neoliberalism.

She is partly correct. Previously no sitting member of the House of Lords could sit in the Commons, and the leader of the Conservative Party must, by their constitution, be an MP.

When Alec Douglas-Home (14th Earl of Home) was 'created' Prime Minister he had to relinquish his peerage.
But he was a hereditary peer, and he could (precedent set by one Antony Wedgewood-Benn, Viscount Stansgate, leading to the Peerage Act of 1963). Pigfucker Dave is a life peer, and you can't relinquish that for some reason.

However, since 1999 it has been permissible for members of the peerage to stand for election to the Commons. So Callme Dave could do that, if someone was to vacate a VERY safe seat for him.
