Sophie Ridge interviewed him on Sky News this evening, at one point she asked him why he abstained on the Rwanda bill? This could prove damaging if the Tories try and run with the line about Labour trying to sabotage the Rwanda bill.

That happened to Stephen Kinnock Tweeting about metropolitan latte drinkers. It appeared from Google maps that coffee is widely available and consumed in Port Talbot.
It used to be wine drinkers as a disparaging label that politicians were about a decade behind the popular zeitgeist on.

The late Victor Lewis-Smith noted that the media and political classes tend to have a very cliched and outdated view of the working class, as evidenced by the perennial "beer and fags" bit of the Budget.
Another example being the mushy peas/guacamole story, which appears to have happened to every vaguely rich left winger in the English speaking world, and was probably started by Richard II to discredit Wat Tyler.

First heard the story in the 80s with dapper Larry Whitty in the seat. The punchline was ‘can I have some of the advocado stuff.’ Thanks to New Labour we became sophisticated enough to know what guacamole was.

Slightly OT, but a friend of mine accidentally* bumped into Gullis yesterday.
My friend is well over 6 foot, as solid as a teak wardrobe and Gullis will have noticed.
