Point of order - John Arlott was a Liberal candidate and a fervent anti-racism campaigner.

Seconded. My favourite story about Arlott relates to when he found himself being required to fill out an immigration form on a plane travelling to Johannesburg during the apartheid years. In response to a question enquiring about the passenger's " race", Arlott simply wrote "human".
