Swinney's misleading about that as well. He's trying to surf the "regional pricing" bandwagon, when the viability of Scottish renewables depends heavily on the 60m odd of people in rUK paying supplements on their bills. And indeed on rUK supplying energy for all the time that Scotland doesn't have enough because it's dark and not very windy.
