Ugandan Asians are a more visible minority than others because of the high profile way they arrived, and the fact that they've produced quite a few high achievers. My guess is that they're more Tory voting than other groups, but I'm sure they aren't that exceptional in terms of their attitudes to immigration. I think Galloway is maybe a good indication of where the communities he targets are. To say the least, the pitch isn't "let's have more asylum seekers".

Reform does have ethnic minority voters, a mix of ex-Tory small business owners afraid of Labour and an element of former migrants who want to pull up the drawbridge behind them.

I'm perfectly aware of that, and indeed the source: it merely serves to illustrate what I hope is running riot in Farage's head - but perhaps more importantly, it also serves to illustrate how he and his supporters may choose to wave this away.
