Apparently, someone has lodged a formal complaint with The Electoral Commission about the name "Your Party" on the grounds that the name could be read as an instruction to vote, rather than a simple descriptive nomenclature.

As in, the complaint is if someone saw it on a ballot with all the other parties they’d think “Oh, this one is for me as it says Your Party! I’d better tick it!”?

Your Party is a terrible name for sure, but Christ alive if we’re worrying that people are so thick that they’d actually do this*, we’re already fucked.

*unless the complaint is from someone in Reform, as I suppose their knuckle-dragging contingent might be hard of thinking enough to misunderstand. After all, they have to have a fuck-off great big arrow in their logo so their supporters don’t miss it.
