So far, Starmer, Davey, Farage and Polanski have spoken out on this.

I'm amazed Badenoch hasn't said anything, or "Your Party".

Well, at least that was predictable. But why the silence from Kemikal? Is she waiting for guidance from X?

I see the Yanks are going to hit Maduro with drugs charges - given his form in the past year surely that means Tr*mp will give him a pardon?

Few will feel unease about seeing the back of Maduro. International law, more so.

The problem here is that Trump feels free to do whatever he wants, wherever he wants, and without recourse to or respect for Congress or constitution guardrails. The man is a lout and a thug, and even Denmark should be looking over its shoulder. Taipei, even more so.

Fill in the blank:

In the ensuing carve up:
* Russia gets Ukraine's ports and rare earths..
* USA Gets Venezuela's oilfields.
* China gets ??????

Africa.

This may not help the Republicans much in the Mid Terms. They might as well abolish Congress if it's run by Republicans.

Ultimately, is this another exercise in trying to distract from Epstein, or is that too cynical?

That's the whole point of international law. States should not go rogue just because they have a bigger dog with a nuclear-tipped bite.

In its press conference, it has said "The US is going to "run" Venezuela "until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition".

Which puppet will they pick - the one that gives them all the oil they can burn?

Apparently, it has branded the military's actions as an "extraordinary military action"... yes, really.

Fuck this. I'm going to do some electronics before my head explodes.

Didn't MCM win the election which Maduro doubtless stole...and the Nobel Peace Prize?

EDIT: That election winner was one Edmundo González Urrutia. Not the Nobel gong, though, and that will be as good a reason as any for Trump to diss her.

It's almost like these actual European leaders realize something's at stake closer to home. By all means, people who can attack Trump directly have the chance/obligation to do so. It's the "why isn't Stamer/Macron/Merz" as brave as <insert straight talking irrelevant politician> people who get on my wick.
