Speaking as a former printer, I can assure you that blaming the printers for your own failure to proofread your master is as clichéd as the dog eating your homework.

Claim about her being a former Labour voter is always a bit baseless.

I could be classed as a former Labour, Lib Dem, Green, Independent, Plaid voter, I think I may even have voted for a communist once. There were supposed to be a sway of unknowns ready to save the Tories but they never showed up.

The problem with John Harris's vox pops is that people in town centres in the daytime aren't necessarily representative. He'll usually find a market trader or shop keeper that loves Nigel because anyone who trades with the public with any sense keeps their gob shut about politics.

Just ignore journalists if they approach you as they're all berks.

Has he thought this through? I'd happily pay the tax before shagging anyone from Reform.

I once got stopped by a news team doing a vox pop in the run up to the Iraq war. Gave my opinion and was told that they wouldn't use it, as I was too even handed and reasonable.

When did serious academic Dr.Matthew Goodwin transition in man of the people Matt Goodwin who eats fish and chips out of paper washed down with a pint of beer, or who eats a full cooked breakfast washed down with a mug of builders tea?

Do voters really fall for this performative nonsense?

I assume if they didn't, nobody would bother with it.

The power that the 'normal bloke, none of this nonsense for me' conceit has is considerable. Never mind that it's invariably condescending bollocks.

I got asked mine in Ledbury by BBC Midlands. They used it. I said the Green Party had more good than bad but had a reputation of being too nimby.
