Just heard this on the BBC news, yesterday Trump was literally praising the sale, today he's urging Starmer not to sell.

For years, the Times highlighted the case of the Chagossians, how hard done by they were, and why there was no reason to maintain a bunch of islands thousands of miles away just so we could bomb the Arabs (after all, what is Cyprus for?).
