Americans seem to be quite good at bumping off politicians - think JFK, RFK (snr), MLK, Lincoln, Charlie Kirk, Malcolm X, Abe Lincoln, and so on. That kid in Pennsylvania failed rather badly, mind, as did John Hinckley on Reagan in 1981.

So why don’t they get their shit together and rid us of Trump?

Trump and Netanyahu’s war on Iran has, it seems triggered a fucking global economic shock wave, with prices not just of oil and gas, but fucking everything else as well going up like rockets and endangering the UK Labour government’s hard-won progress on economic stabilisation and inflation rate reduction.
