Sunak has also urged military intervention to back Trump. A periodic reminder he wasn't Captain Sensible restoring sanity in the Tory Party but just another post Cameron right wing headbanger.

The reason Sunak got the gig was because they thought he'd be another John Major.

She's on the usual form.
She says Keir Starmer pulled out of an an event organised by the group that organised the Trafalgar Square event when he was opposition leader because they are “highly controversial”. He was “sucking up” to British Jews. So his stance is “the mother of all hypocrisy”, she says.
Not attending something isn't the same as saying the people doing it are trying to dominate society. Note the gratuitously nasty and shit stirring reference to British Jews there too. They didn't ask to be brought in to this.

That is laugh out loud bad.

I see she's back on to attacking the Government's position in this crisis again. Nobody knows when it'll end, least of all the Prime Minister. Can Kemi tell us when it'll end? People in Trump's administration have no idea what he'll say or do next.

Just look to the markets. Some people are getting very, very rich indeed from his behaviour.

I don't know if that's it. Sure, he's eminently aware he can threaten a company and shake them down but this stuff looks too erratic. Easier explanation is that he's making it all up as he goes along.

I love "Ed Milliband's Renewable Observation Certificates". They were Rishi Sunak, Boris Johnson, Theresa May, David Cameron certificates too.

I'm not an expert on Nigerian energy policy, but I'm guessing it didn't fall down because of laws restricting production and encouraging renewables.

Kemi Badenoch has admitted that, when the Conservatives campaign promising “lower taxes” at local elections, they are not necessarily committing to tax cuts.

Instead, in an interview with Kit Bradshaw from ITV Meridian, Badenoch said that “lower taxes” meant people would be paying less than they would with other parties in power in local government.
8 out of 10 councils have raised taxes by the maximum allowed and will doubtless do so again. Lots of these are Con held.

Does she know anything about local government? Or is she predicting a bad performance and going for the talking point instead?
