I thought Zack was supposed to be Mr Real Issues for a public tired of party politics. He reaches for political jibes as quickly as anyone else, often bafflingly like here. Sometimes he says exactly the same as the right wing press, like when he was claiming Rachel Reeves had put up taxes for fake headroom or something.

Mothin Ali too has been dealing with racists by telling them they must be on the right track if people point out they’re racists.

But as I said, who am I to say they’re doing it wrong, given the polling?

Hannah Spencer seems to have completely made up something she says Lisa Nandy said, but got a profile basically saying how nice she was. (Rehoming greyhounds and caring about their welfare is good, it's the lying about Nandy and pro-world hunger policy on energy support for the richest that I take exception to. Lots of people have pointed out the problem with the latter policy, but alas there seems to have been no articles yet from experts calling it out).

This is where the Jewish "perception of unsafety " comes from Zack,
I wonder if Polanski's got the morale decency to condemn this?

Whoops. Rupert says this isn't illegal because there's no number to identify it has his ballot. On the other hand, there is the statement here where Rupert says "this is my ballot"

Plankski's a berk. Maybe someone should point this out to his fan base at the Guardian.

How is this stuff not “genocide denial”, which they keep chucking at Starmer?

I am going to have to contact my MP again, I see. I’m sure she knows what an idiot he is.

He’s also criticised Starmer for conflating Jews and Isreal in some comments that weren’t about Israel.

I have never seen such utter shite as this from a mainstream party’s leader as he now is.

If he were a member of another party, I think he’d be kicked out.

I bet Polanski has got a Jezza hat, though.

Then you underestimate what a repellent Stalinist Galloway is. He's very contemptuous of the Greens and they're support for international institutionalism. And he despises bed wetting social liberalism on the left as well.

The Galloway parallel doesn't really work, except that The Greens have snapped up a load of Galloway anti-semites, and are being dishonest about it.

Here's the leader again now, allowed by Zack's Comic to write off appalling anti-semitism in terms of the need for "nuance".

https://www.theguardian.com/news/2026/a ... buke-of-pm

The "rebuke to the PM" is for the PM calling out dreadful comments by Polanski about how dangers to British Jews might just be "fear". Starmer's mind may have been focussed by being at an actual firebombed synagogue at the time. Comments, I emphasize, made by Polanski himself, not an obscure party member somewhere.

More thought put into this than most of their policies. You'll a few nice shops, but how much money do councils have to do this? Seeing loads of them can't even afford to run youth clubs.

Someone does make the point BTL that this is quite a middle class policy. I like my independent cafe in Ledbury as much as the next man, but if I was hard up, I'd probably do my coffee drinking in Malvern Morrisons, where you get a free refill. Morrisons of course is a "corporation".

Tell us more.

Was she pressed on the effect of subsidizing the rich to buy energy they don't need in a worldwide shortage?

Nah, don’t do that. Hannah’s dogs are her strong point.
