Lost Wandsworth to NOC which is a shame but it’s really close vote between them and the Tories.
Labour Retained my new area of Merton which I’m delighted with and slightly surprised. Also gained a councillor.
Reform vote was 12% there and 7% in Wandsworth. Does seem for the most part London has been adverse to Reform and it’s replaced Tory vote where it hasn’t. Major cities also don’t seem to have swung massively to the Greens which was suggested, so far it’s not been a great set of elections for them eithier.
Lib Dem’s taking Portsmouth was nice considering it’s one I expect reform may have looked at, perhaps the Iran stuff had more of an impact there than say the dumb Plymouth lot.
Exeter lost for Labour but can form a coalition with LD and little Reform there, it’s abolished next year anyhow.
A fair few NOC’s can be coalitions for Labour, not to say they are a disaster they are, though from a high base in 2023, the Tories I think lost 1000 from this and look to be matching Labour roughly. Probably will be lower losses once the votes are in but still.
