Apparently 3 have already been removed or resigned.

It's only 3 days, we'll get one a day at this rate.

LBC reported one who posted "Muslims are scum" and, when caught, apologised and explained, "I was in a bad mood and I was watching TV".
I wonder which channel he was watching that made him racist? *

* I don't. I'm sure he was a racist long before he ever heard of GBNews.

They should stay away from television considering their MP from Runcorn also made racist remarks when watching TV adverts.

Their improved vetting process is working well

A newly elected Reform UK councillor who claimed the Holocaust was a hoax has resigned from his party just days after being elected.

Jay Cooper was voted in to represent the party in the Bootle West ward at Sefton Council on Merseyside.

However, he has now apologised for his comments, resigned the party whip and has indicated he would go on to sit as an independent.

Reform confirmed Cooper had resigned and said his membership of the party had been revoked...

Reform UK has issued this statement about the news that Nigel Farage is being investigated by the parliamentary commissioner for standards. A party spokesperson said:

Mr Farage’s office is in communications with the parliamentary commissioner for standards.
He has always been clear that this was a personal, unconditional gift and no rules were broken.
We look forward to this being put to bed once and for all.
This seems like an explanation of why he doesn't have to pay tax on it- foreign gifts aren't taxable. As an explanation of why he didn't declare it, it's probably not going to fly. Hopefully a long suspension and a recall petition to follow. He's almost certainly win any by-election, but would be worth going through the process.

Oh, this is gold. Indignant Reform supporting numpty on Fleecebook does not understand why the newly elected Reform Group of Birmingham City Councillors isn't sitting on golden thrones and signing decrees to deport all brown people.

So the other party's believe in democracy just for themselves 🤷.
Surely this is against the law.
So the people who voted reform will be ignored🤷
Those who voted reform in this city should be exempt from paying council tax.
Please share this post because this is political and divisive abuse of the voting rights of people across the country

What is this in reference to? The fact that Reform don't control everything instantaneously because, horrors, other people exist?

Reform has 22 councillors elected and is the biggest group on the council. But the council comprises 101 councillors so any controlling group would need to be at least 51 strong. Every other group on the council, including the Tories, has said that they will not cooperate with Reform under any circumstances, so basically they're fucked and can only ever be in opposition.

'I am shocked and appalled that my vote isn't magically more significant than other peoples' and that they refuse to work with us, how dare they exercise their choice, that's not democratic, waaa'.

Got it.

This is just too hilarious!

Just before the Locals, many were already speculating that these cabbages would be so disappointed to learn that, come Friday, Saint Nigel of Surat Thani would not be in Number 10.

And lo, it came to pass.

That sounds surprisingly sensible by the Tories.

People talk in terms of the left defeating the far right, but it's much harder if the mainstream right fails to play its part. Sadly the national Tories are not showing much sign of being prepared to do that.

Apparently Andy Street has been involved.

Probably the only sensible Tory you hear about nowadays.

Anyhow let Reform try and run it as a minority and see how long it lasts, about until the day is out.

That page is comedy gold right up until the point where you realise these people have as many votes as we do.

Her son and fellow Reform councillor Ashley Monk was also been suspended for reportedly bringing the party into disrepute.
The mind boggles at what you might have to do in order for it to be alleged that you've brought Reform 'into disrepute'.
