I've not really delved much into Reclaim. Are they a bunch of conspiracy theory tinfoil hatters, or are they something a bit nastier but equally batshit, like the old League of Empire Loyalists?

I have to say that Sunak's performance at the despatch box thus far has been underwhelming to say the least (but still several light-years better than Truss). It seems pretty clear that trying to brand Keir Starmer as Jeremy Corbyn after a shave and a couple of jars of hair product is going to be the entireity of his strategy between now and the election. Pretty desperate stuff, and not entirely convincing. The swivel-eyed and even some moderate Tory voters will buy it, but nobody else.

I'd say that he should really tell Owen Jones and his Trot mates that Keir Starmer is Jeremy Corbyn with a bottle of after-shave, but even they aren't daft enough to swallow that.

As I've previously observed, it seems that most voters have now passed the tipping point beyond which Labour is not only safe to vote for again, but where people have determined that they are going to vote this appalling shower of a government out wnen the election comes - whenever that may be.

I’ve noticed with climate change and with the asylum seekers crisis (disgusting inhumane bollocks), they’ve decided to take a position and think or expect the public to fall in line.

It’s what my members believe is often the first slip and they expand or retract depending how impossible it is to defend it.

If people like you, they may go with you even if your whims appear insane. Or more likely they will ignore that, there are some points with Starmer that I’m doing the same. But the issue is I like him and I want Labour as the next government.

There position on climate change is at pretty much odds with any opinion poll, their position on the situation with asylum seekers seems to be at odds and if you want real proof of just how out of touch they are Starmer the leader of the opposition uses all 6 PMQ’s to attack the Tory Party on immigration, that is unheard of in my lifetime.

The fact no one reasonably decent is giving Sunak even a draw today says it all. It doesn’t matter in the great scheme of things but if all they have is “Corbyn” (and it seems it as they’ve put out a video on it now) then they are sunk. I suppose Labour are waiting for the boundary change confirmations as there is a easy get out on Islington if it was to pitch Thornberry, Abbot and Corbyn for two seats.

He apparently has dropped every idea he had in the leadership election, or it’s all up for review. The problem based on that is no one is quite sure what he stands for. The alternative could easily cement in the minds of the public mind, that he stands for nothing and is effectively a Burton’s menswear suit fitter (unemployed).

Leads are tumbling all the time, sorry I’m just feeling shit about it all, I wish I could have faith in YG being more accurate and it probably is but it just seems this lot who have no policies, on their third PM and just after crashing the economy still get all the goodwill in the world.

Only bonus is Labour can’t lose any council seats tonight to cheer me up.
