"We don't go to any Aboriginals for vaccines".

Honestly, WTF? And what was the stuff about Shakespeare he was blathering on about - has someone tried to cancel Shakespeare?

Once again, "decolonising" subjects just means a) pointing out the global nature of things such as maths and science, and b) ending the reliance of personality-led science teaching (e.g. Newton with his apple, Fleming "accidentally" inventing penicillin etc).

As for Shakespeare, this is back to Sophie Okenedo as Margaret of Anjou, isn't it?

Some good news for those moaning about Glastonbury being a lefty BBC plot or something. I wasn’t aware Danny Rampling had become the Matt Le Tessier of the rave scene. Raves aren’t places to be wrong about epidemiology.
hardcore COVID conspiracy theorists are preparing their own festival in the UK, with a lineup drawn exclusively from artists in the “truther” movement.

The three-day “Freedom Music Festival,” will be held in a field near Battle, Sussex, next month, with early-bird tickets selling for £99.

Headlining the event is Danny Rampling, a pioneering DJ in the UK rave scene, who describes himself as a human rights activist and “sovereign being,” and whose social feeds are full of conspiracist fantasies about COVID, vaccines, 5G and and the globalist “agenda.”

Hosting the main stage will be 90s novelty pop act Right Said Fred.

The Freedom Music Festival is being held from the 29th to the 31st of July on the grounds of HOPE Sussex, an educational hub that caters to the homeschooled children of COVID truthers, who have pulled them out of mainstream education to shield them from vaccination drives and what they consider the corrupting influence of normie society. https://www.vice.com/en/article/v7vgky/ ... ival-covid

One of Kenny Everett's characters would be delighted. They're rounding themselves up and putting themselves in a field. All that's left to do is bomb the bastards.

Frightening how we can sound like Littlejohn as a reaction to people like him.

I mean for most of the nineties half his bodyweight might have been yokes, but he's suddenly a fucking pharmacist,

Right Said Fred aren't actually even playing, either. Too much Taylor Swift money, I reckon.

Hatey Cockpins can't even get a gig in a nowhere town like Bedford

A local council has cancelled Katie Hopkins's show at a venue it runs.

The media commentator, well-known for her controversial views that have seen her banned from Twitter for violating its hateful content policy, was due at Bedford Corn Exchange next year.

A petition against her appearance said Ms Hopkins did "not belong in our proudly multi-racial, diverse town".

A spokesman for Bedford Borough Council said it cancelled the event as it did not support its objective.

The BBC has attempted to contact Ms Hopkins for comment...

Pretty big fail though. One or two of them getting elected would be a sodding nuisance for the people in the meetings, but wouldn't be able to effect decisions.

The best of their candidates got 46,000 and the lowest score for those elected was 63,000. That's like losing a two horse race 58-42. The second best v the second lowest was effectively a 60-40 loss. Democrats do better than that in statewide races in South Carolina. It's not that close.

No, because I suspect the retired colonels don't give two hoots.

This is a rentamob feigning concern. The closest they get to an NT property is driving past it on a bank holiday and thinking "nah, we're good".
