The "vile shitbags" have done much, much, much more for the social & economic fabric of the UK compared to McKenzie whose best bit was left as a sticky spot on his mother's bed sheets.

I tend to swear in Scottish, not just because I lived there for some seventeen years but also because the the language lends itself so beautifully to a caustic tongue.

Anyway, a shitbag or a shitebag is essentially a coward, the gastrointestinal aspect of the flight-of-fight instinct being referenced. It might mean the same across the land.

Now, wading in to the carnage of a British Friday night in order to rescue the injured combatants or piecing together the remains of Sunday drivers on the nation's highways and byways - that really is not something for the faint-hearted. In fact, you need balls (and a stomach) of steel to be a paramedic.

McKenzie is either pitifully wrong or publishing something he knows to be untrue. Fancy that!

Richard works in commercial property. Does this mean prices will fall, empty offices available for home conversions and Tice loses a bundle? Fail to see the downside.

Ban this filth! The fruitcakes are scraping the bottom of the right wing barrel and having a Mary Whitehouse day. Pub landlord is no Malcolm Muggeridge and I understand da yoof no longer watch music channels, grandad.

Meanwhile Larry Fox is such a monumental tit he’s being schooled by a Kipper leader.

These apologists live in an alternate universe. I particularly like the bit about their “success in bringing down Zahawi” has driven them to go after Rabb

I actually think the Mail is getting worse. Trawling through my occasional visit to Mail Online this morning, I saw this laughable piece but also viscous attacks on public sector workers and the mayor of London, a toe curling editorial about channelling Thatcher to defeat the unions, a piece gloating over a decline in BBC radio listening figures which apparently demonstrates that the BBC is ageist, and a simply dishonest opinion piece about how Sunak apparently wiped the floor with Starmer at yesterday's PMQ. Then there's the countless pieces where the Mail merely trolls its readers for a reaction who then gleefully pile in with a tsunami of whiny resentment and victimhood.

I console myself with the thought that they probably know they're screwed both politically and demographically.

Kinell she might be right, Raab is a big beast in a Bonsai jungle

It’s about as important as a Tory MP getting to ask a question at PMQs about how marvellous their new field is and would the PM like to visit.

It’s only really existed properly out of coalition for the Johnson and Truss years which says a lot about it.

In fact it would probably fall foul as a quiz question and is about as important as the Holy Roman Empire was at the end.

The issue is that it was

Williamson
Braverman
Raab
Zahawi

I’ve heard there is some other names out there that no doubt will be the next to be dragged in, problem is they need a focus until it ends up back on Braverman again.

Lee Anderson's constituency is a next door to Mansfield. The current Mansfield MP is Ben Bradley who is also a local councillor in Mansfield and chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council so his expenses claims must make for interesting reading. In the past being leader of a large county council was regarded as being virtually a full-time job but Bradley is doing it alongside is 'full-time' work as an MP.

His Twitter timeline is full of the usual right wing nonsense, retweeting anti-immigration tweets and the usual Guido Fawkes bilge. Whilst many Tory MPs have similar Twitter timelines I think it's not really a great look for the leader of a county council to be attacking immigrants given that council of a duty of care to look after immigrants in their area.

Ben Bradley has a history of being outspoken/pointlessly offensive. He tends to make good TV talking head fodder for that reason.
