Dan Wootton gives his deluded views on Johnson's performance.

Westminster’s crooked kangaroo court tried its hardest, but failed to produce any smoking gun against Boris Johnson. This deranged witch hunt must now fail for the sake of British democracy

The committee didn't need a smoking gun, they have already concluded that he mislead parliament. This was actually Johnson's opportunity to produce a smoking gun to try and clear his name.

I think the committee clearly put to bed any idea that it was a kangaroo court when it was put to Johnson that no Tory MPs raised any objection to the committee scrutinizing him or how the committee would operate.

It's just a wage for Wootton, this dentally luxurious gobshite from the antipodes.

His job is to undermine everything and anything that doesn't match the daily deluge of memos and missives. It pays the school fees and his dentist.

We now move to the final refuge of a scoudrel's sidekicks.

He can't have misled parliament because no MP would be stupid enough to believe what he said.
Or similar.

Galloping Ganesa - how many ways can you unpick that in a minute?

What they call deep state is what others would call parliamentary sovereignty. All they believe is that their side should have licence to do whatever they like.

The only Tories backing Johnson now are the head bangers. He is starting to look like John Redwood when he attempted to become Tory leader in the days of John Major. People took one look at the state of his backers and realised that electing him would be a total disaster.
