I do like how she contradicted the Conservative spokesperson, said Vance was misunderstood whilst at the same time Vance was apologising.

Ah but she knows Vance, left of centre people are still the people they were 30 years ago but right of centre and right wing people can change their mind every 5 minutes apparently.

Vance joined the Marines and then deployed as a "Journalist".
Proper R.E.M.F. pen-pushing stuff.
Meanwhile his more manly comrades were kicking in doors and warfighting.

He now displays a massive dose of "hero envy".
Verbally lashing out at any real warrior who comes into his spotlight.

This explains the toxic personality.

The steroid bloated face and weird makeup.
I'm sure there's another story there.

He's been asked to do that multiple times. He's being strangely evasive.

Apparently Kemi won't say who he meant either.

Straight talking right wingers.

I hope they got bollocked for lack of effort.

"Principled" apparently. When you've got principles, you can ignore people like the man representing 72 football clubs (who represented the 20 Premier League clubs before).

EFL chair urges Badenoch to take ‘more balanced view’ on football regulator
Rick Parry writes to Badenoch to request meeting
Conservative leader thinks regulator a ‘waste of money’
“Kemi ran for leader of the Conservative party on a platform of ‘governments should do fewer things but better’ and she is instinctively opposed to new regulation when she believes government should be deregulating more,” read a statement. “As such, her opposition to a new football regulator is based on principle.”
We can count on Kemi supporting deregulation of planning in post villages round Saffron Walden, can we?

Kemi will be delighted to see masses of affordable houses built for workers priced out of Cambridge in her constituency.

Something they pushed through and made such a show of they are now against.

It’s a cheap and lazy attempt at less regulation her mates over the pond always suggest but when push comes to shove and you have say a financial crisis they come crawling to the government for cash to keep themselves afloat.

It’s almost like their philosophy is the one they often mock socialists about in which they suggest the trouble is running out of other peoples money.

Andrew Griffith, who is a rabid Musk fan and somehow in the Shadow Cabinet, seems to have suggested that Rupert Lowe would be welcome in the Tories.

Kemi needs to knock that down, surely? Or is endorsing lunatics something the Right are allowed to do?

You mean it isn't a prerequisite?

You think Andrew may have waited until the police finish with their investigation at least.

In fairness, not sure Griffith meant Lowe explicitly (but wouldn't be out of character). But I'd have thought a few questions about this would be more than justified, given that the dissatisfaction with Farage seems to be coming from people who want more of the Lowe-Musk-Yaxley stuff.

Remember Rachel MacLean? The obnoxious former Tory MP for Redditch and former minister who used to pop up regularly on Question Time and The Daily Politics to talk shite .

As thick as the proverbial Boxing Day turd, she was deservedly kicked out of parliament at last July’s election.

Guess what she’s doing now? Well, I think I may have hit on what is no doubt a significant contributory factor to Kemi Badenoch’s utterly piss-poor performance as leader of the opposition ever since she was installed as Tory leader. Wikipedia notes :

In December 2024, Maclean was appointed to join the House of Lords as a life peer as part of the 2024 Political Peerages Act.[2] She was created Baroness Maclean of Redditch, of Hanbury in the County of Worcestershire on 5 February 2025.[33] She also serves as Director of Strategy to the Leader of the Opposition, Kemi Badenoch
