I see that Reform’s newest MP, Sarah Poachin’, has gone right in with both feet in her first appearance at PMQs, asking Starmer to “ban the burqua”. Even though that is expressly NOT Reform UK policy. And even though hardly any women in the UK wear “the burqua” at all. While Zia was party chairman he acted as a fig leaf for the party, Farage and co. could claim that having Zia as party chairman was proof that the party wasn't racist. No he has gone the party will struggle to deal with claims that the party is racist.
