Craig has the high quality followers you'd expect. No docks in London ever shut down, eh? Though the stock exchanges is a new one on me. I'm surprised to see how many there are in some countries, but I reckon 3 in Scotland would be pushing it.

Seemed to be bought by Premier Sports which has been transferred to Viaplay, SFA must have been happy with it as the Channel 4 got access to England games.

I’m not sure when it all changed as England used to end up in the same type of deals

Craig actually calls himself a "historian" in his bio these days. Alas no room to mention that WIlliam was King of Scotland. Not taught in schools in Scotland to this day, apparently.

Had forgotten about Craig. He's apparently turned up at the UN as an unofficial Scottish delegate. Hopefully these "diplomats" are ushered away before Craig tells them his position on Russia.

Would he even be allowed in the building with all the VIPs? I imagine he's standing outside, handing his stuff out to secretaries who smile and "will definitely pass it on to the relevant party".

More on what he's doing at the UN. The answer seems to be "we're doing lots behind the scenes, honest". No idea who's paying for him to hang about in New York- a place that isn't famous for being cheap. Like someone BTL, I foresee a "we're about to make a breakthrough" fundraiser.

He talks about "bilateral lobbying". Bi-lateral implies two sides negotiating, not one side being pestered by a man and a dog, who are completely ignored by the country they say they're lobbying for. Do we really think eg India (who are on the committee) are "lobbying" Craig?

There are 24 countries on the Decolonization Committee. By my count, 9 of them are former British colonies. They may have a different view of Scotland's relationship with colonialism to Craig. I wonder what they'll make of Scotland having just elected a big majority of MPs from the "colonial" parties.

Who's seen any Western feminists urging war with Iran? Me neither. And quite why this would be worse than anyone else doing it, God knows.

Craig isn't renowned for his commitment to women's rights.
ONN: You mentioned the other day, you were giving an interview, and you mentioned one of Assange’s accusers by name, Anna Ardin, and this caused a big uproar. I’ve been doing some digging and I found out that she is in fact a Social Democrat politician. Do you feel that these are facts that need to be made widely available to public? Do you stand by the fact that you named Anna Ardin as one of his accusers?

CRAIG MURRAY: Absolutely. The most important single point in this is that Anna Ardin named herself. She has given a number of interviews to the media under her own name accusing Julian Assange, the first one of which I can find was in August of 2010. But I found at least 30 media interviews that she has given where she is reported as Anna Ardin making these accusations. Now the idea — and saying that she does not work for the CIA. It was interesting that she feels the need to say that. Most of us don’t go around denying we work for the CIA. And also saying that, you know, Assange is a misogynist and a rapist and goodness knows what else.
Blah blah CIA blah.
