It’s because Netenyahu is a bastard, but Starmer? As far as Corbyn et al are concerned, He’s a *traitor*. And to them, that is far, FAR worse.

"Complicity", however defined, is basically the same as dropping bombs yourself. When the Jez types used to apologize for the Soviet Union, I used to think they were just morons. I didn't think "complicit! bastards!"

The Jez Party, hitting the established parties where it hurts. And hurting the Greens more.

It's bizarre this conversation he's been having as though the Greens don't exist.

The Greens are irrelevant to them, all they care about is preventing another Labour government.

If Jez was going to do it, he’d have already done it. He can win his own seat as a long-established incumbent. Other seats though? Good luck getting support when he starts rattling off why Ukraine should fold for Mr Putin on one hand while letting antisemites using the current Netanyahu regime as cover run as candidates on the other.

Jez is 75 so who will take his place as leader of this outfit? His Labour MP allies aren't going to relinquish their seats so probably a nut job like Eddie Dempsey or Chris Williamson who'll drive the party over a cliff.

He could pick a couple of extra seats up where "Gaza independents" came close last time, and where I'd guess Ukraine has limited resonance. But I don't see him winning seats where the Greens are already second. And they really shouldn't do deals with him. They reversed their silly NATO position but might a Polanski Reformation of the party gets the position re-reversed, in which case I guess some sort of alliance with Jez might be on the cards. I wouldn't think Ellie Chowns fancies knocking on doors in Leominster as the Jez Candidate.
