Run the clock down, and just as things are wrapping up, do "And I'll tell you what..." followed by something outrageous that they can't question you about.

He is clearly envisaging a run to number ten modelled very closely on Trump's second ascension to the White House - no real policy detail, unsustainable promises, populist rabble rousing and "common sense".

But I don't think he can pull it off. The UK is not, politically, the same as the USA, and he will come unstuck.

The template for Reform MPs seems to be the "belligerent argumentative cunt" one, if that Pochin woman is anything to go by. She was on The Daily Politics having her BS dismantled by Danny Finkelstein and a Scots (I think SNP) guy, and she was deeply unpleasant - interrupting, talking over others, raising her voice.
