Hope you're ok. My blood pressure has been reduced by some combination of weight loss drugs and ramipril.

Ramipil are great as are Amlodipin. I bought a fistful of Clopidogrel in India too, at about fivepence a pop. That combination works wonders on the tinitus.

(As does Oxycodon and red wine but the hangovers can be rather savage as it is easy to overdo both of them. That might also give Kemi pause for much-needed thought.)

Amlodopin made my feet and ankles swell alarmingly.

Amlodipine and Lisinopril are my two little friends, which I seem to tolerate well. I was taken off a third one as it isn't recommended for diabetics.

The main issue, I think, is my weight. I lost a fair bit when I went on oral semaglutide, but mental health setbacks saw me pile it all back on - again. Hopefully, one or two long-term issues* will be resolved soon with help from my few friends and then I may well just go into 'hibernation' over the winter months. That appeals to me.

*There's more, but that's not for here.

I understand Badenoch has been photographed on the footplate of a steam locomotive to mark the opening of a new railway station.

Odd.

To reuse my extended metaphor from the other thread, through the station buffers with Kemi.

(It isn't actually my metaphor, I should add. It's Ian McLeod's, used of Enoch Powell. "You always had to get off the train of Enoch's logic before it hit the buffers".

The bit about ploughing through WH Smith and the taxi rank was mine though.

I can almost hear Kemi now, calling out this stuff for the stupid and nasty chaos that it is. Did they even know what they were tabling? Or did Katie Lam just stick this rubbish on the email, and it went straight in?
