I think it was Tony Benn that said we have to keep on fighting the same fight, over and over again. He wasn’t talking about the National Trust, but he could have been.

Good to see that Farage doesn’t qualify to be one of the party leaders that get to lay a wreath at the cenotaph.

Apparently the qualifying criterion is that a party should have no fewer than six MPs. Reform has five. Quite surprised that the frog-eyed cunt hasn’t been kicking off more about the injustice of it all.

His side lost anyway.

Meanwhile, it is Kristallnacht here in Germany. Candles are weakly flickering on the brass plaques which commemorate the families who were dragged out and slaughtered,

Yes, I was rather surprised that he wasn't gobbing off and cosplaying somewhere. Perhaps he laid a wreath in Clacton?

Didn't he do just that last year?

I'm pretty sure his supporters did...as did Corbyn's because apparently all former LOTOs are included. NB They are not.

Noah Smith has to go here these days. This is hilarious. Very rich bloke flies from Dublin-Heathrow-Paris to save a few quid on a direct flight. He misses the obvious purple sign saying "transfer this way", and exits the airport (allegedly a member of staff told him this, but I'm dubious). He then fucks up the transfer to the other terminal, by queuing for a paper ticket he didn't need (funnily enough, we take credit cards, Apple Pay etc). He gets to the other end, finds out that he's expected to go through departures like eveyone else. After a bit of an argument with a British Airways staff member, another staff member takes over and gets him on the plane.

Moral- Britain is fucked, apparently.

This "immigration officer" who he says told him to go the wrong way is a bit of a puzzle. Possible he's made it up, that he asked someone doing a non-customer facing job with a lanyard on, or maybe he went completely the wrong way and then just asked someone how to get to Terminal 5. Whatever it is, it's a sign that everything in Britain is shit.
