He knows what he is doing, people outside the area don’t know these places
Jenrick was born and raised in Wolverhampton, only just up the road from Handsworth. So he knows very well what Handsworth is really like. He is lying through his teeth about it being the least integrated place he’s ever seen.
Robert Jenrick is 5ft 5in tall.
I'm not saying he doesn't, he is trying to stereotype an area to those people at home.

I see him describe himself as Anglofuturist according to Hope not Hate, which seems to be about “reigniting Victorian engineering in High tech Projects”, this seems to be mostly awful AI imagery of future tech covered in British flags however its founder has suggested a need to instil “a racial consciousness in straight white men” and has sought about rehabilitation of Adolf Hitler.
Let’s just take the very basic of infrastructure, Labour announce any small scale project and someone finds some ancient woodland link, you can’t even put up a phone mast on an industrial estate without some campaign.
HS2 is massively over budget because pretty much 80% of it so far is a tunnel, Jenrick should stick to painting over murals it’s about his level.

It's fitting that Jenrick is the MP for Newark, as Newark is an anagram of wanker.

Newark is not just his constituency, but an anagram of what he is.

I was going to post something similar.
Visions of Jenrick wearing an extra tall (Brunel style) top hat.
You know, to compensate for his inadequacies.
Also goggles, pretending to be an airship pilot.

And when the next radicalised murderer - of whatever colour, race, religion or belief - commits the next outrage, Jenrick will not for one second think he might be partly to blame.

Politicians taking sides during an ongoing trial would have been unthinkable once. That's something else Johnson normalised.

It indicates that Ozempic Bob has stepped outside the constitutional democratic framework.

The Tories have been doing that probably since 2010, and certainly since 2019.

Bit of 1980s football rough and tumble from the West Midlands. Birmingham v Leeds 1985, just the 1 death and 236 injuries.

Jenrick was five years old in 1989. Farage can at least do pint with the lads schtick but Jenrick's pure Partridge.

Credit to OP, the explanation for this bizarre santitisation of 80s football crowds seems to be that the Thatcher era has become all round golden age now that the 50s is too long ago.
More good natured rough and tumble football from the 80s. Admittedly not the West Midlands, Luton v Millwall 1985. But Jenrick is clear that it's "Britain" which has changed, so here goes. Not just in the ground either.

Reminds me of Jeremy Hanley back in the day describing a riot at a boxing match as "exuberance", except that was a fairly harmless gaffe rather than an attempt to build up a particular malign narrative.
