Do they get a committee room, or is it done out the back, by the bins?

A shiver looking for a spine to run up?
Do we need to even care whether it’s the Tories or Reform with the highest polling numbers? They’re interchangeable garbage.

Apparently, after the 3 November, Badenoch loses her 12 month immunity to challenges to her leadership. Jenrick and his supporters are supposedly preparing the requisite letters to the chair of the 1922 committee.
I'm sure I join the rest of the Mailwatchers in my shock.
* Shock that Jenrick is angling for the leader's job. (Heil Doenitz).
* Shock that "Tory sources" might be dissatisfied with Badenoch.

Bring on "Honest" Bob.
Starmer might be a pretty lame PM compared to the theatrics of Funtime Boris.
But he's a sharp operator in PMQs, and will happily humiliate Jenrick on a weekly basis.
"Jenrick now" spoils the master plan to have him stealth in a few months before the next election, and avoid most scrutiny.
"Jenrick now" also presents a slightly increased distraction for the Farage mob.

Let me get this straight.
The party that reduced our police by 33% now wants to set up a shadow police organisation.

They don't need real cops for the job, just masked thugs with big sticks.
This announcement will be very popular with a significant minority of people.

'Migrant crisis'. What, the boats?
Stop putting them on TV and the fuckers would soon forget them. Christ the press is stupid.

Did we all catch Bad Enoch's Kuenssberg interview this morning?
She did not come across well. Belligerent, impatient, short-tempered, touchy, and on occasions, downright unpleasant.
I do not think that is trivial, or insignificant. Public image, as represented by the party's leader, is an important factor in people deciding whether or not they want to cast a vote for that party.
Tories are not oblivious to this. I don't expect her to last another 6 months as leader.

If they're rounding up the wogs, then who will paint the roundabouts?

More likely eight months so Kemi takes the bullet for next May's council elections. That will mean the most unpopular PM since Raquel Welch in a shammy bikini was kidnapped by a pterodactyl, has seen off two Tory leaders every three years on average.

Of all people, John Howard has shown up at the Tory Conference. He is now 86, and has been gone from frontline politics since 2007. I suppose it reflects the online Right, where Australia looms large, and they couldn't get an American to show up.

Another vote of confidence for Kemi. No election for the assembly till 2028, so no immediate need to do this.

Australia means no mucking about, and no pooftahs. It's also predominantly white. Wet dream for the Tories.

They really think they're on to a winner with that slogan. Are they really going to run next time on ripping up all the trade deals?

Also sounds like a clunky forgettable soundbite written for Badenoch.
