No one has been quite as much of a self-publicising cunt as Farage before.

Killer Whale wrote: Thu Sep 25, 2025 3:50 pm Isn't it conventional that senior civil servants meet with members of potential governments in-between elections to ensure continuity? I don't think there's anything to see here at all, aside from a tacit acknowledgement on both sides of the obvious (to everyone else) fact that Reform is basically Farage and Tice and a fan club.
Do they ever meet the Greens, DUP and everyone else with a handful of MPs? It really is fucking incredible how this man has set the political agenda for a decade, turning relatively unimportant topics into vital issues, without ever being held to account in the media.

Wanker fight club breaks out. After Nige accuses Bozo of letting too many of them in, Johnson hits back with Farage is a Putin stooge. Have some some fun with Reform voters; 'Boris is right.'

Streeting on Farage:

Streeting also said he was “shocked” by Farage’s disregard for science.

"When Nigel Farage was asked in the context of that row about paracetamol, and whether or not it posed a risk to pregnant women and their children, despite what all of the medical science and all of our doctors were saying, when he was asked whose side he was on, he said, ‘I don’t have a side.’

Well, that’s not someone I think should be trusted with healthcare in our country.

And the fact that he chose to give a platform at his conference to someone who said the Covid vaccine gave the royal family cancer says you can’t trust this man with your health."

Streeting ended with a personal jibe.

"If that’s the sort of health advice Nigel Farage is taking, maybe that’s why he’s the same age as Brad Pitt but looks 20 years older."

You might think this'd make his fans wonder 'hmm, perhaps the problem is the employers, then?'

But no.

Stand up Sara Pascoe recalls introducing herself to Farage in a green room; 'Hi Sara, I'm a comedian.' 'I don't find comedy funny, Nige replied.
He doesn't like music either or any cultural hinterlands. Does he experience pleasure beyond golf and winding people up to hate Johnny Foreigner?

I've met people like that too, unfortunately. Dead from the neck up; in the words of Bender*, "meatbags".

*A character in the animated series "Futurama", m'lud.

If you come for Farage where else are you going to find him but the political gutter? Obviously Farage can't produce any evidence that these gun toting lefties exist. The Red Army Faction in a Tardis?
Nigel Farage accused Keir Starmer of inciting violence against Reform UK in a furious response to the prime minister’s recent attacks on the right-wing party

"It’s a constant attack on me on what we stand for,” he said. “The prime minister has decided to descend into the gutter.”

Farage claimed Starmer’s accusations that Reform’s policies are racist means he is calling Reform supporters racist.

He said: “To accuse countless millions of being racist is a very, very low blow. Why? Well this language will incite and encourage the radical left.”

He claimed this “directly threatens the safety of our elected officials”.

If we had a "radical left" (another Trumpian import?) in this country I can think of a few people they'd have targeted before now.

There was a piece in the Guardian the other week about the RAF: Baader came across as a right twat.

It's totally a Trumpian import. Wave your hands, blame the Commies, profit. The reality is meaningless, just flood the zone with shit.

He's one of those individuals who do their best stuff in wartime.
You want them on your side when the shit goes down.
IN peacetime they can be a total pain in the arse.
Especially those who think that shooting a few Jerries (Argies, Tallies) make them an expert on everything.
