The early appointments are good for busy people, who can have their teeth checked and go into work and do a full or near full working day. Why subsidize people with time on their hands to take those early appointments?

What are these urgent early morning appointments for the elderly that Susan has in mind? I’ll email this softball question to Ferrari to ask next time she’s interviewed. She’ll have no idea of course.

Could be a hospital appointment, in fairness. I've not had one for a long time, but they used to be whatever they sent you through the post.

But yeah, not the most obvious injustice I can think of. And they can use the freedom pass for the journey home and wherever else they want to go that day.

It reminds me of that Cabinet meeting before Bozo resigned. I guess they were trying to make her look serious.

I think the "listening mayor" stuff maybe storing up problems. (It's not GB News posting, as you've probably guessed). I wonder if a couple of people who have tried to contact her and haven't been "listened to" might be in the audience for the debate.

Hello little baby, would you like asthma?

What I don't get with the mayoral election is why the Reform Party is still bobbling along at around 2%. Is it that the Reform candidate is really crap or is Susan Hall so batshit that she appeals to many of the potential Reform voters?

Don't know. But UKIP only got 8.1% in 2015, and a few more citizens of nowhere have replaced old Kippers since then, and I doubt too many are growing into old Kipperdom either. So the Reform demographic won't be very high, and they don't seem to have built any profile for their candidate. I had to look up who it was (Howard Cox, who doesn't even have a wiki page).

In the meantime, here's more of Team Hall's genius.

This is a good point. I'm no fan of the "stop running down Britain" school of arguing that seeks to deflect criticism of Brexit or whatever, but "London is the crime capital of the world" is way over any sort of reasonable line. I thought it was bad when Jeff Sessions claimed that crime under Obama was at a record high (not even close), but this effort by the Tories limboed under even that standard.

They're really going for this stuff. Yeah, Khan! Why won't you tell us when the tube station will reopen? You're not interested!

Or perhaps Julie could look on the TfL website. It says September 2024.

That’s the least stupid pitch Hall’s campaign has come out with.

Oh my God.

And I thought Shaun Bailey campaigning in Watford was bad. Hall thinks Crawley is in London.

Even if Crawley were in Greater London that would still be a shit argument. Heavily polluted air here is ok because there's clean air somewhere else?

That'd certainly make me rush out to vote Tory!

There may be lots of farms in Crawley but there is also a sodding great airport. I suspect the air is more polluted than many ULEZ areas.

I’d really recommend she says and does nothing, the fact she has slightly more recognition than a guy who doesn’t exist according to a YG poll would suggest the more people know who she is the worse it gets.

Let me get this straight...

A vote for Susan Hall will see finders of lost property prosecuted and more chip shops in Crawley? - or something.
