Apparently Tate’s opponent was trying to break his jaw the same way as Paul but he couldn’t find it.

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn claimed that he didn't seek this panto. The Jake Paul camp approached them for this lucrative but ridiculous candy from a baby fight.

He's a YouTuber who started playing at boxing a few years ago, having bouts against other YouTubers. To give him his due he's stuck at it, trained hard and now looks like a middling pro. Hearn said earlier this week that they were looking at an easy opponent as a warm-up for Joshua but Paul offered fifty times as much money. I don't know about Paul's politics but credit to him for going six rounds with a world-class heavyweght.

He spent a good proportion of those six running about a very large ring, or falling on his knees and hugging Joshua's legs.

The guy's of no interest to me, but several commentators have cited his praise for ICE raids in the USA.
The world has a surfeit of "influencers".
A couple taking a bit of tap over the same weekend might possibly dissuade some others.

Influencer's two security guys suffered a "lapse of attention" and didn't intervene.
