We may jest, but I’m sure there’s plenty of “Eton parents” who will already be looking at passports, grandparents nationality, Harley Street medical certificates, etc

Maybe the woke blob includes Capita recruiters, these days.

Suddenly I'm seeing some upsides to the concept of Pals' Battalions. In specific circumstances.

Or the Pissartists' Rifles?
I think
some Territorial battalions (The ones that made the UKIP leadership and the likes of Cleverley officers) match that description.
I see the regulars are off to Bongo Bongo land again.
Rather them than me, pass the port old chap.

I reproduce below in full (but it's mercifully short) a heartfelt plea by the execrable turd that is Kelvin McKenzie. One, it'll give you a chuckle and two, errrr, well it tells you everything you need to know - sorry, I mean already know, about this disgusting specimen (Try not to laugh when you read that first line) :
I bow to no one in my admiration of Nigel Farage.
I first met him more than 25 years ago when running the old Talk Radio and he couldn’t find any media prepared to carry his message. The talk gave him a small platform.
Since then he has grown to be a massive force in politics although never having been an MP, yet wielded enough power to force Cameron into holding the Brexit vote. An astonishing political achievement.
Today he spends his time running an enormously successful show on GB News and showing more and more ankle when asked the question; Will you come back to lead the Reform party for the November General Election.
The answer to that question is; Of course, he will.
And that is where the problem is. The reality is that without Reform the Tories would do poorly leaving Labour with a 50-seat majority.
With Reform putting up candidates in every constituency Labour would win a 200-seat majority and possibly be in power for a decade or more.
What Reform says is that with the Tories destroyed they would then create a new Right-wing offering to the public, would win power in 2029 and then bring in proportional representation.
I say that is a pipe dream. But what isn’t a dream but a nightmare is the idea that Starmer and his union mates have untrammelled power for years and years.
If you want that vote for Reform. If you don’t plead with Nigel to stay on GB News.

And deluded. The plan isn't to bring in PR. It's to take over the Tory party and win under FPTP.
And I'm entirely sceptical that the people who'll only vote Tory if Reform stand is anything like big enough to make the difference in 150 seats.

The belief of the cunterati that the public will vote Labour in to power in 2024 because the Tories aren't sufficiently right wing, is nuts.

This is actually quite watchable. Rees-Mogg makes some fairly general points but actual food wholesaler puts him right on the realities. All civil. If this were in a debating society or a dinner party, fine.
Not sure how "Tory MP conducts interview in which he puts forward Tory Government position" works with Ofcom, mind.

					GB News presenter apparently.
My school had a chapel and a chaplain, so more religious than the vast majority. We sung a hymn and said the Lord's Prayer most mornings. But what's this twice bollocks? Did his school do Vespers as well? Or did they have sing a hymn and say the Lord's prayer before double Chemistry? We never said grace before a meal- would have been kind of impractical with 600 turning up spread out over about an hour.
And that's ignoring how stupid the argument itself is.

Prince Phillip and Stanley Johnson are his evidence for his elite conspiracy. His guest argues that overpopulation concerns are just green lefties wanting to import more immigrants.
