List of supporters here. Most of them don't seem to be radical Islamists. Nor will the individuals who attend be.

It’s actually improved my thoughts about some of them.

It is somewhat odd how they hark back to the past when they could say anything they wanted.

Powell was removed from the Tory back then for being a massive racist. Now they let them have shadow cabinet positions.

Edit: I chose the wrong racist

I think I'd struggle listening to some of the speeches, mind. Doubtless, the real enemy is Starmer is some of them, because it always is.

I'm reminded of BBC News' painfully-phrased headline about "anti-racism critics" during the Black Lives Matter protests a few years ago.

I don't think anyone is so disconnected from his audience as Paul Weller. Even my mate who thinks the sun goes in every time he shuts his eyes has stopped going to his gigs.

Really? His albums still top the charts - I wonder who's buying them all if not his audience? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Weller_discography

His audience is still his audience. However, they tend to include a lot of people whose politics go no further than their union flags.

When did Paul Weller ever do cheery banter with his audience? His prolific back catalogue does the talking for him.

Shame now I know who goes to Paul Weller gigs as I’ve recently developed a bit of a fandom for him.

It would go nicely with some jam.
