Plus of course, Trump is betraying his spectacular ignorance of how the Nobel Prize Committee works. It may be based in Norway, but it is a completely independent body, and the government of Norway has no influence whatsoever over who receives any Nobel prize. His craving for the prize was only ever motivated by the fact that Obama was previously awarded the prize (without begging pathetically for it) anyway.

After Machado gave her prize to Trump, after being told that she could not do that, I understand that the Nobel Committee has now pronounced that both Machado & Trump will never be eligible for any future prize. Which is nice.

It's a pity Dynamite Boy's "Peace Prizes" can't be withdrawn.

It's a pity we can't find the Lee Oswald we need.

I've leaned towards Trump just playing crazy to flood the zone and firehose or whatever its called. But he's now the Colditz POW who sent himself mad from acting it out so he could be repatriated.

He's assuming that the Norwegian government dictates who the Nobel committee award prizes to because that's what he would do if the committee was in the USA.

Apparently he asks for the Nobel peace prize every time he and the Norwegian PM meet. And every time, the PM explains the govt. have no say.

It could be he simply doesn’t believe it because he would interfere if it were him. But this repeated questioning/demanding of something and no retention of information as to why it can’t happen is also a sign of Alzheimer’s.
