Locally, I've seen letters from them with individuals claiming to be community champions.

Whenever I hear the phrase "community champion" or "community leader" I visualise Adil Ray's "Citizen Khan"...

But we're full up! Where will we house these babygrants when they grow up? Doesn't Matt know there's homeless ex-soldiers on the street?
Who the fuck wants to bring kids into the world when the older generation is hell bent on putting people like Trump and Farage in power to accelerate ecological collapse? Just so they can own libtards.

This is a bit like the pre-"modernized" BNP. Hand the public a flyer with "too many foreigners", and some of them would agree. Hand them a flyer with "the real issue is the international Jewish conspiracy", and lots of the same people would be absolutely baffled at best. There's a difference between core group and wider public.
Most people who might vote Reform will be baffled by this, at best. It's not baffling if you're properly into the online far right. I'm tempted to say that Goodwin isn't that focussed on winning a seat in Manchester, but he should be. It would be a big boost to him and his party. I think he's gone completely mad.
