A few years ago, we did paintballing on a stag do, being a bunch of edgy young professionals. One of us was actually sueing the place for negligence at the time, and they had one of those signs up. It didn't create a good impression, to say the least, but actually safety was very good. I don't know how the case when.

What joy is it to see one of the Faragihadis getting his arse handed to him on such a gargantuan plate. Nine.Fucking.Years!

Now that the trial of Axel Rudacabana has concluded after he unexpectedly pleaded guilty to all charges, it can be reported that this individual was indeed already known to police, anti terrorist security forces, administrators of the “Prevent” programme, and other agencies that should have been able to stop him before he murdered 3 little girls and attempted to murder 8 others in Southport. The BBC news correspondent said that there were “several warning lights on the dashBoard”. There undoubtedly will have to be a full public enquiry.

No doubt this may have been what Farage was alluding to back in July when he (I believe deliberately) incited what rightly became known as the Farage Riots. He chose, of course, to hedge around asking what we weren’t being told, and insinuating falsely that the perpetrator was an immigrant to the UK.

And of course, the reason why we “weren’t being told the whole story” is precisely the reason why we are only finding out about these circumstances now. The case was sub judice.

No doubt the frog-eyed fascist will be popping up (as soon as he gets back from Trump’s swearing in) to claim that he told you so. Yes you did, you cunt, and started a load of fucking riots. You total cunt.

Farage kept saying that Starmer had questions to answer but clearly most of the warning that were missed came well before Starmer became Prime Minister.

The government has now set up an inquiry into events in Southport so hopefully Patel, Braverman and Cleverly will be required to give evidence of what they knew and when.

That's a big win for the BBC. Slippery spooks always have national security to hide their dirty laundry.
In an unprecedented admission, MI5 has now issued an "unreserved apology" to the BBC and all three courts, describing what happened as a "serious error" and saying "MI5 takes full responsibility".

MI5 lied to courts to protect violent neo-Nazi spy

MI5 lied to three courts while defending its handling of a misogynistic neo-Nazi state agent who attacked his girlfriend with a machete, the BBC can reveal.
The only thing I can think of is thst he's been turned to spy on his fellow fash.

That's pretty obvious, but they'd still have to go through an end justifying the means process if he's engaging in unrelated criminal behaviour while on their books.

I’m fairly sure that the decision immediately to identify the perpetrator of the car ramming attack on Liverpool as a white British bloke from the locale was probably the right one, principally from a pragmatic point of view in order to pre-empt and prevent the sort of social media speculation that provoked the post-Southport Farage Riots last summer. It would appear that so far it has had the desired effect.

But what happens the next time something like this happens? Because there will be a next time. What happens if the next time the perp is a brown or a black asylum seeker or refugee ? Will his (her) identity and/or immigration status still be immediately made public ?

O’Brien was talking about this this morning, and he said he feels uneasy about this. I think I share his unease.

Playing the game is already giving a way a lot to the cunts. That's the problem: as you observe, the next time something bad happens and an identity is not released, the precedent implies a certian choice made // even if the next perpetrator is white and British and likes tea and therefore bla bla bla, the story will run on.

It's another form of trying to feed the insatiable monster, though an understandable one in and of itself.

As I see it the choice is simple:
1. give out the details of the suspect with the uncomfortable implications Red and Abers have noted
2. withhold the details and cede the ground to the online racists risking a repeat of last Summer's riots - maybe this time with some dead asylum seekers.

There are no 'good' options but 1. is uncomfortable, 2. is unforgivable.

I think what complicated the Southport case was the age of the killer. Because he was under 18 the police were always going to be limited in what they could reveal to the public. The fact that there was plenty of video footage of the attacker the police had very little option but to reveal details about him. Even so there were plenty of social media posts trying to stir up trouble by claiming that the 53 year old who had been arrested ,ay not have been the actual driver.

The last thing we need is a second wave of Farage Riots in the week when Tommeh gets released.

I try to not over-think this stuff.
There's a little "evil dictator" (Darkened Aviators, Beret and Cigar optional) in my head promoting bad thoughts.
Let them have their rally, assemble a thousand coppers and beat the shit out of them.
My rational mind knows that we aren't in Putin's Russia and repercussions would be extremely bad.

They are going to riot the next time the perpetrator of a shocking event has a foreign name. Bear in mind yesterday was Merseyside Police who got criticised after Southport. They did the right thing.

These right wing patriots profess to love their country so how come it's always them smashing up their own towns and cities? And did they all kick up a fuss when this white grooming gang got jailed in Bolton last month?

To be fair some of that may have been genuine confusion. There was a viral video of the police arresting a man (plausibly 53) who was clearly not the driver (he was trying to attack the suspect in the police van). Also the original police statement didn't make it explicitly clear that the 53 year old they'd arrested was the driver.
