A man who was born without any discernable facial features so that, if all else failed, he could feature in the "Meet the Team" section of an osteopaths' website.

Inevitably followed by a comment column on the thing that the Telegraph told you was happening and isn't.

What would you do if that Keir Starmer came round your house, helped himself to all the beer in the fridge, and shat in your bed?

The "slippery slope" argument is often dubious, but this is taking it to man in the pub levels of stupidity.
Funny that people who push it rarely accept its validity for their own positions. Alison Pearson wants to deport foreign criminals, What's next? Deporting people who aren't foreign and haven't committed any crimes to El Salvador? (Unthinkable, I know).

Sean Thomas, remember him? He's astonishingly still getting paid to write. Here he gets right to the sort of real issue that affects ordinary working class voters. An imaginary remake of Zulu. Contrasting lefties today with the sort of old left that you could respect. Even though this respect for patriotic socialists wasn't a feature of The Telegraph at the time.

A delightfully old school Telegraph story from the days before it was written by Nazis.
You get the feeling he was banned for being a cantankerous old sod no one liked.
The National Trust blacklisted a volunteer after he pointed out spelling mistakes on its website.
Andy Jones, 71, a volunteer at the trust for more than a decade, sent a dossier of thousands of misspellings and factual errors to the charity’s director-general in the hope that they would be corrected. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/0 ... Ddrg%3D%3D

The Mail also picked up the story. I bet Mr Jones was fumming.
In a volunteering capacity, the pensioner carried out several roles from burning waste, gardening to guiding visitors and answering membership queries.
He initially asked Ms McGrady, who is from Northern Ireland, if she would 'be so kind to forward' the document to someone who would could address the issues.
