We’re not yet ready for his return. Has he threatened to duff Beth up?

“You gambled and you lost,” Jodie Whittaker told the Master at the exact same time as Johnson announced his withdrawal from the leadership race.

The worst fallout from Johnson’s return is that it’ll put wind in Trump’s sails.

Have a read of the Mail's editorial. They're making out that he's the greatest politician of his generation, and this act of largesse will secure his right to an inevitable second coming.

Is a knighthood really worth so much to these people?

Dacre really must be despairing at all his prizes being taken away. No OFCOM, no knighthood, pretty soon no Tory govt., and to top it off the very real possibility of a Labour majority more than strong enough to enact Leveson 2 and put in a press regulator with real teeth. Because unlike Blair, when Starmer gets in there’ll be no chumminess with Murdoch so no favours owed.

To be fair: It's been a shit generation of politicians.

I'd rate Cameron slightly higher.
May / Johnson / Truss can fight for last place.

Bozo’s in a two and eight about where to go next and brainfarted his own Peace and Justice project. Who’s going to trust Johnson with their money now he’s not in power and has nothing to trade?

The Marshall plan was huge and involved a number of large economies contributing vast sums. What Johnson appears to be proposing is him going to America to make a big speech to keep up his profile on the international stage followed by getting some of his mates to contribute towards rebuilding Ukraine.

Presumably it will be a repeat of Covid where many of the donors will be at the front of the queue when contracts are being dished out to rebuild Ukraine.

Apparently Boris Johnson is planning to rock up at COP27. This should be quite interesting given that most of ardent supporters seem to be climate change deniers. Perhaps Sunak should call Johnson's bluff and give him a role linked to Climate change to really mess up the heads of Johnson's cheerleaders.

I see that the Covid enquiry has requested his WhatsApp messages.

How rapidly do you reckon he's going to claim that he's lost them?
