This might well be the shortest thread in Mailwatch history, but here goes.

For some reason I was looking for info about Mike Oldfield, and came across this old (2012) Daily Mail piece, which to my surprise, is quite good.

Oldfield is a bit of a cunt, it turns out, and this article very nearly says as much - well it bemoans him residing in the Bahamas and paying no UK taxes, which is surprising in the Mail.

‘There’s a British thing about hating people who are too clever,’ he says.

"But why do people hate me?" the Brexit supporting musician added.

Remember an article about how Oldfield had turned to lonely hearts/online dating and thinking what a lonely country we'd become when a famous millionaire musician couldn't get a shag. Then you read on as to what a moany old gammon he is. Charlie Mullins without a silly haircut.
