Either they stick with Trumpism ans allow Trump to basically pick his own successor or they take back control of the party and ensure that the contest to find their next presidential candidate is completely open. Trump would clearly like to either stay on as President or pick his own successor to ensure there is somebody in the White House to pardon him if necessary.
