Ragebait is apparently the word of the year and it occurred to me that pretty much the entire output of the far right media (there isn't any centre right anymore) consists of ragebait. The Mail, for example, is probably 95% ragebait (is that two words?) and always has been, all carefully composed to convince readers that someone, somewhere is taking the piss out of you and getting something that is rightfully yours. Millions of people have this victim mentality.

He also has a go at local elections, which turns into a general diatribe against the NHS and people needing care. Along with all the other standard right wing talking points. Twat.

Shit about flags and how Labour hates Britun.
They believe the judgment shows that this is a country where the law is supreme, and where human rights are embedded in that law. To them, the case shows that – however low you have stooped – you are entitled to exactly the same legal protection as anyone else.

It is precisely that emotion (which is really a form of priggish Lefty conceit) that is the problem for Starmer and his government. Because that is not how most people see the Awale case.

We see a rank absurdity. Most ordinary people simply can’t understand how it can be right for the taxpayer to be handing a large sum to Awale and his lawyers, in the name of human rights. What about the human rights of the kids he shot? What about the risk he poses to other prisoners?
Former British PM, gloating about the possibility of abandoning the rule of law. Calling it a "priggish lefty conceit". The cunt.
