I started work at roughly the same time as Farage would have and I can hardly remember a time when I didn't use a computer. I'm not exactly tech-savvy but I sure as shit know if I've forgotten about £380,000.

Everyone knows what technology they need to know. Even Boris Johnson can boot up a laptop.

Dishonest Alexander Johnson received "IT Training" on the London Poll Tax bill.

I think you misspelled "Fucked an American prostitute repeatedly while paying her out of public funds" there.

HMRC: take note. Farage isn't claiming that he somehow forgot these basic digital skills. Rather, that he never had them.

He also seems to be 'taking full responsibility' while blaming other people. Cakeism from Brexit central. No surprise there.

There'll be different rules for him, though. Because he's Nigel Farage.

I well remember my dealings with HMRC and its debt collection agencies when there was a fuck-up over my paying my Corporation Tax - and it wasn't pleasant (a single letter got missed off the reference). Neither was dealing with Barclay's when I have to prove that not just me, but my accountants and their company were who we said we were. I mean, my accountants only have FMAAT, FCCA, ACA, BFP as well as ACA, Bsc (Hons), FMAAT, FCCA after their fucking names but no, I had to explain who was whom in all that.

That sounds like a woefully under-qualified national leader for a world of Internet, AI and digital security threats.

In his world we'll be going back to a time of Olivetti adding machines, manual typewriters and thermionic valves. None of this woke computer stuff.

But you don't understand, Nigel is too clever for mere day to day tasks, when he is PM he will be operating on a higher intellectual level. All the background functions can quite easily be carried out by his friends; Thiels for Plantair and Elon for Starlink, in fact he's probably promised them a complete takeover of Britain's IT infrastructure. That's how ahead of the game he is.

This "I'm clueless with IT, me" strongly reminds me once again how it is fashionable to appear thick: more "man of the people" shite who have no time for this nerdy stuff.

Well, he's never off social media, even if he has minions doing that for him.

Does he also have an account on "Only Fash"?

Registering expenses would have been part of his routine 30 years ago or whenever it was, probably by more laborious means than are required now. He couldn't be arsed.
