Jaguar Land Rover is in Solihull.
My brother-in-law's late stepfather lived in sight of the factory, no less. But other than being a typical Green (in the pejorative sense), how the fuck can he be on Solihull Council and NOT notice that fuck-off huge factory on Lode Lane?!

Don't forget Nissan in Sunderland too, where they're building the next generation LEAF.

I forget where I saw it, but apparently, Ed is currently the most trusted party leader.

I think Ed is the most trusted politician in the same way that the Princess of Wales was considered the most popular year when she didn't appear in public for almost 12 months.

As I said, Populism it’s soundbite and easy to play on, of course there is talk of them hitting one of our bases.

So I’m not sure what else Starmer could do, but it will get you likes and reposts on TikTok, but as Pz points out it’s bollocks.

That this ultra liberalism seems to co-exist with strong positions against tobacco seems confused.

The state hasn't banned tobacco but regulated its sale and consumption, made safer addictive nicotine alternatives available and launched an on going public health campaign lasting decades. Its been a huge success and a role model for those advocating a regulated drug market. A different approach to laissez faire libertarians who dismiss it as nanny statism.
Other than prescribing herion addicts clean gear, I'm not entirely convinced by this approach. Or any, some issues don't have solutions just least bad options.
Are they not in favour of the plan to make tobacco progressively illegal to new adults? I'm not sure, but the liberal opposition to that seems to be Ian Dunt and virtually nobody else.

Another one there who thinks Attlee brought about an instant improvement in living standards, by the look of it.

All those countries look the same to Zack. Sadly I think there's a critical mass of people who fall for this stuff now.
