The shape shifting local MP steps back in time to 1955 under the spell of a rancid slug monster.

Ha ha ha.

Just when Reform look like they might be fading. Kemi had no limits regarding racism for Jenrick. She has got very lucky here.

What happens when "time for truth" Bob's new boss starts hissing at his wife?

Could be tricky. Especially if she wants half of the property portfolio.

To be fair Jenrick endorsed predictions that the economy would turn to shit ten years ago.

Good Lord. We're worried about the poor getting into Westminster Abbey for too cheap now, are we? Great libertarianism too,

I'll forward that to my friend who gets UC who can't afford to do too much. And of course working people claim UC too.

Thanks, Bob, for bringing this to our attention.

Does he factor in the travel costs to London?

I'm about old enough to remember unemployed people being urged to use their time to better themselves, and not to spend all day in front of the TV. But no, seems like nowadays it's all about everyone kicking down.

If you're going to do this stuff, at least do stuff that's directly the responsibility of the Government. Actually, I shouldn't give him ideas, should I? It'll be teeth next.

Even if you lived in London, how many cultural trips do the poor (or indeed anyone else) actually do? My own reaction as a child would have been "can I just play with mates, and not go to another bloody Museum this week?" We wouldn't ever have received income-related benefits, but even if we had, it's hard to imagine my parents saying "no, you're coming, we're not missing out on a discount like that!" And £26 is still a decent amount of money to people who have not very much of it.
