The only positive thing I can say about Fargle is that while he's there the bigot vote is largely going nowhere else. We used to say that the British electorate, in all its pious, hypocritical glory, would never vote for out and out racism. The last couple of years have made me realise that this is exactly what they want, and if Farage wasn't around they would just as easily vote for Rupert Lowe or Tommy Ten Names.

One of the few positives attributable to social media is that decent legacy media* are being embarrassed in to shining a light on to Farage's foulness and of his coterie of cuntishness. Lying, dog-shit filth, the lot of them.

* How the BBC political team manages to swerve this is beyond me. Have they all got ready-to-sign Gbeebies contracts or Thai crypto accounts?

I am wondering whether they are waiting to switch back to the Tories when they finally boot Kemi.

She’s sort of lucky regarding Starmer and this media because if so much as a second of the attention was spent on her as it is on Starmer they’d already have had two leadership elections.

Well, if a week is a long time in politics then 2 years to the next GE is an awfully long time for a 62-year-old lifelong smoker who still chuffs through 30 a day to continue to evade old Mr Carcinoma.

I think we’re long overdue a bit of cosmic rebalancing. And I very much include Trump and Murdoch on that ticket.

Fingers crossed. However I still recall the 122 year old French woman (30 odd years ago) who had just become the oldest (documented) human to ever live. The BBC reporter asked if she had any tips for longevity, not really she replied but added, "I may give up smoking as they tell me it's bad for my health".

Election expert explains why Farage should be ‘privately worried’ by Reform local election results

He wrote: “Behind the impressive tally of Reform’s gains – likely to end up well over 1,000 – Nigel Farage should be privately worried.

“In last year’s local elections Reform won 41 per cent of all seats contested across England. On the basis of the overnight figures, this year’s tally is around 33 per cent.

“If there were no polls, and there had been no elections last year, this year’s figure would be astonishing. But we do have the record of recent polls and elections, and it seems clear that Reform has peaked.”
Plus, at GE time, voters play it safer, less willing to risk their vote on the unknown.

Reform will be more well known by the next GE after three years of council governing. Doubt this will help.

I wish i could be that confident. I fear it's more likely the 1932 Reichstag elections.

Chuck out millions, eh? Who's going to deliver your Maccy D 'cause you're too lazy to go and get one? Look after you in hospital/be your doctor? Deliver your shit from Amazon?

Jesus, when did being a thick, racist cunt become a badge of honour?

I can't tell you where it started, but it became socially acceptable when the legacy press used Gillian Duffy as a stick to beat Gordon Brown with.

I liked being able to call a bigot a bigot without them bleating about their white, working class culture making them infallible.

Take a closer look at the limited and aged demographics that voted and it doesn't bode well for Farage's GE prospects.

To counter that they'll have three years of unquestioning and approving media coverage with their brand of bigotry now acceptable. I'm really worried about the future.

Folk keep saying "it's only old gammons that vote for Farage" - so please explain George Finch, who is nineteen?

Not three months after Farage was elected at the '24 General Election, he claimed that he had "been advised" (though he did not say exactly who advised him) not to hold face-to-face advice sessions for his constituents in Clacton (you know, like proper MPs do) for "security reasons".

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgx9nyep7vo

Farage will not hold face-to-face surgeries

Surely when he was being "advised" about this, he might have mentioned that he had 5 million quid from his chum in Thailand to take care of his personal security? No ?

The lying, grifting, frog-featured CUNT.

Social media algorithms are so powerful. Whilst being really useful on YouTube for discovering new channels on topics that interest you, if a young person clicks on a far right video, even thumbnailed and titled in a non-political guise (poverty porn is often an "in" or starting place for far right YouTubers-Billy Moores is a good example), then whether they are logged in or as a "guest", they will be flooded with far right video recommendations. This makes them think everyone thinks like this. Far right stuff gets really hefty viewing figures. Clearing cookies even as a "guest" proves as futile as spraying Febreze outside Chernobyl. Only a long long time of not clicking on a topic will make them disappear as recommendations.

In the post-match euphoria of Thursday night I was talking to a friend's son, presumably in his mid-twenties. He was pro-Reform, I asked him how he thought a public school millionaire stockbroker gave a toss about him, he agreed but "They're different and I'm skint." My older and now sadly late friend's saying about "Let the other lot have a go" is being played out with both major parties at once.
