Whether or not his secret, undeclared 5 million quid “gift” from Christopher Hampton in Thailand came to light as a consequence of having been hacked by Russian actors - or by any other means, is neither here nor there. That it has come to light after having been kept deliberately secret and undeclared is the salient issue. Which Farage still has not adequately accounted for.

Now, by saying he - a member of the UK’s parliament - was hacked by the Russians and having not reported it, he has needlessly raised another, possibly even more serious, matter in which he is implicated, and that’s before the matter of the illicit Thai donation is even considered.
